Due to a power outage at our Iowa City office, our ability to complete same-day substance use evaluations will be limited until the power is restored. Please contact our office at 319-351-4357 prior to coming in.

  To ensure safe construction of our new facility at 3451 Easton Blvd in Des Moines, all outpatient services in Des Moines will temporarily transition beginning June 22, 2026.    Substance use evaluations will continue to be held at 3806 Easton Blvd. Groups and individual sessions will be held at either 3806 Easton Blvd or virtually via telehealth (Zoom). All clients will receive detailed information from their provider regarding the location of their services. 

For too many individuals and families, the greatest barrier to recovery has been access to treatment when it’s needed most.   Our new Grays Woods Recovery Center in Des Moines will add a full continuum of residential and outpatient behavioral health services to help meet Iowa’s growing need for substance use and mental health care.   Mental health and substance use disorders are common health conditions—not personal failures. Tuesday, June 2, 2026, will be the last day for Same-Day Access walk-in substance use evaluations at our Webster City office.   After June 2, 2026, all Webster City evaluations will be scheduled by appointment only.   Evaluations may be scheduled with the provider at our Webster City office by calling 515-832-5432.   Same Day Access will remain available at our Fort Dodge, Ames, Des Moines, and Iowa City locations, and those schedules can be found here. 

Tonight's (April 14th) evening EOP group in Iowa City at 6:00 PM has been rescheduled to tomorrow (April 15th @ 6:00 PM) due to the threat of severe weather.

All CFR outpatient offices will close early at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026. Residential-based programs will remain open 24/7 as usual. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to call us at 866-801-0085 with any questions or concerns.
