Community and Family Resources (CFR), serving 8 counties in North Central Iowa, providing substance abuse and gambling prevention and treatment services, has an opening for a Full Time Dietary Specialist at the Fort Dodge Central Campus. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high degree of confidentiality, be detail oriented, and a team player. The dietary speciliast is responsible for planning, preparation, and delivery of nourishing meals to residents as well as maintaining a safe and clean kitchen enviornment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for following menus as set up by registered dietician.
Responsible for working within budget guidelines.
Responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory and storing provisions for the Dietary Services. This includes keeping track of stock supplies and rotating stock.
Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance necessary to meet required health standards.
Responsible for educating clients on health and nutrition guidelines
Experience in field of Dietary Services and quantity/quality meal preparations.
Must have completed or will complete specialized training in dietary services
Must be Safe Serve Certified are able to be certified within 3 months of hire.
Must be nicotine free.
