"Untapped Potential" is the best way to describe what my life was like before coming to CFR. I was living without direction, without purpose and without the ability to really enjoy simple pleasures in life. Now, over 12 years later, I have purpose. I have direction and I can really appreciate all that life has to offer. With the help and guidance from CFR, I have been able to change that "untapped potential" into a Master’s degree in business and live a very enriched life. Most importantly though, my children only know their father as someone who is always there and is devoted to their own happiness and well-being. It really can work!

Detoxification

Detoxification Services

The first step on the road to recovery is physical detoxification of the body. This process can be physically and emotionally stressful for the newly recovering person themselves and worrisome for those friends and family members who are closest.

The highly trained medical staff at CFR understands the detoxification process is rarely an easy one. The Nursing Staff that monitor this process are supervised by our Medical Director and are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These experienced professional have the challenge of initiating the healing process by providing not only medical supervision but also by providing nurturing acceptance so crucial in the early stages of withdrawal.

“The longest journey begins with a single step.”

The withdrawal process is ongoing as the recovering person moves through the initial stages of detoxification. Our Nursing Staff continues to provide monitoring and basic health care and referral services when needed to all clients at all stages of recovery. The Medical and Nursing professionals, clinical team and support staff at Community and Family Resources know that quality care is comprehensive care.

At Community and Family Resources we believe in joining with the recovering person and their families in their journey toward physical healing, emotional wellness and hope.
