There are still openings for the State of Iowa OWI Course offered at ICCC's Transportation Technology Center. The class meets from 5 PM to 10 PM on Thursday, June 22, 2017, and 8 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, June 24, 2017. For more information or to register, contact Kelly Bender at 515-574-1971. Juvenile Drug Education is scheduled for July 1st and 2nd, 2017, 4 - 8 PM on both days. Everyone is welcome to visit the Ames Main Street Farmers' Market on May 20th from 8 AM-Noon to raise awareness and show your support for Mental Health Month! Volunteers will be creating sidewalk chalk art and spreading positive messages that raise awareness about the importance of mental health to one's overall health. Free games, giveaways, and informational resources will also be available!

Join the voices for recovery during CFR's 5th Annual Walk for Wellness, Race for Recovery 5K run/walk at Ada Hayden Park in Ames on Saturday, September 16, 2017. In addition to the 5K run/walk, healthy snacks and a variety of family-friendly activities will be provided. The 5K registration is only $10, which includes a t-shirt!
