Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences or a related field. This person must be a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor or hold a temporary cetificaton. They must also have knowledge of theories, principles, and techniques of substance abuse treatment, knowledge of the psychosocial aspects of substance abuse, knowledge of the principles of recording and report writing, and excellent communication skills. Lived experience is preferred in this position.
