Job Description

At Community & Family Resources (CFR), our staff has the opportunity to provide support at many different levels with youth as well as adults.  Our teams at CFR consist of highly qualified and motivated staff that has a passion for working with people and specifically assisting those who have or have had a struggle with substance use and the disease of addiction.  Many of the people we serve have also struggled with poor decision making, legal issues, homelessness, mental health disorders, health issues, and family issues leaving them with minimal support.  Our team at CFR works together to provide support and instill hope for the people we work with.  We provide education regarding alternatives that are available and the hope of achieving a healthy and happy lifestyle.
CFR is currently taking applications for the following overnight Treatment Specialist positions:
  • One (1) full-time working Fri/Sat/Sun from 8pm to 8am at our Adult Residential Facility
  • Two full-time (2) working Mon/Tue/Wed/Thurs from 10pm to 8am at our Adolescent Residential Facility
  • Two (2) part-time working Fri/Sat/Sun from 10pm to 8am at our Adult Residential Facility
  • One full-time (1) working Fri/Sat/Sun from 8pm to 8am at our Adolescent Residential Facility
JOB SUMMARY:  The purpose of this position is to assist the clinical counseling staff and medical staff with providing addiction rehabilitation services to individuals with substance abuse issues and their families/concerned persons.
  • May assist clients in completion of necessary assessment forms/documents as needed
  • Orientates clients to program services
  • Provides oversight and monitoring of clients’ whereabouts and behaviors
  • Reports client issues to staff
  • Assists with light housekeeping duties, including shredding, trash, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and other areas as assigned
  • Answers the phone and forwards calls as needed
  • Facilitates education groups as necessary
  • Assist with transportation of clients to scheduled appointments, planned activities, or as directed by the supervisor

Skills & Experience

  1. High school diploma or GED required
  2. AA degree preferred
  3. Must have valid drivers' license and valid vehicle insurance
