Andrea has been part of the CFR team since 2014 in several different roles. After a brief departure in 2023, she joined the Iowa City team in August 2024 as an Outpatient Addiction Treatment Counselor; she also provides services at our Conroy office. Andrea has held several other roles in the residential and outpatient treatment programs at CFR that have contributed to her thorough understanding of substance use disorders and recovery.
Andrea has been a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) since 2019. She received her bachelor’s degree in human services and is currently nearing the completion of her master’s degree in social work.
Outside of work, Andrea’s two dogs and two cats are an important part of her life. She enjoys spending time outdoors, renovating her house, and traveling
Angi G. joined CFR in January 2021 as a Mental Health Therapist.
Angi's previous experience includes advocacy for persons with disabilities, nursing home social work, hospice, residential substance abuse admissions, and most recently she worked remotely in Wisconsin for people using the Family Care Medicaid program. Angi graduated from both state schools with a BA in Social Work at Iowa State and a Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Iowa.
In her free time she likes to walk on nature trails and watch birds. She enjoys spending time on her vacation property in Boscobel, Wisconsin and playing and enjoying life with her extended family, husband, grown sons, and grandchildren.
Jackie is a Gambling Treatment Counselor in our Iowa City location. She graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with a bachelor’s in Human Services and Criminal Justice and has an associates degree from Southeastern Community College with an emphasis in Chemical Dependency Counseling.
She has over 15 years of experience in human services, including providing prevention education to adolescents in our community through Life Skills training and giving them information on vaping, alcohol and other drugs. She has experience working with people who have mental health concerns and integrating them into our community.
Currently, she is working on a new approach and available treatment with problem gambling.
Ronda has been an outpatient counselor at our Iowa City location since November 2020, with specialties in gambling treatment, adolescent treatment, and served as Family Treatment Court liaison for 2 years. She received her tCADC within a month of employment and in January 2023 earned her IADC certification.
Ronda began working in the behavioral health services in 2007, providing care coordination and BHIS services to children, adolescents, and adults focusing on teaching. In 2013 she moved to employment at a local high school as an in-school suspension supervisor where she provided both support and guidance to adolescents who demonstrated behavioral issues for the next 6 years. Prior experience consists of over 20 years providing excellent customer service to customers and over 9 years of supervisory experience in retail sales and with people who experience barriers to independence.
In her free time, she spends quality time with her children, grandchildren, fiancé and her 2-year-old Malshi, Cooper.
