Programs and Service

CFR’s programs use a blend of evidence-based approaches that have been shown to be helpful in assisting individuals to achieve their goals. The clinical teams at each facility are composed of professional staff who understand substance use, mental health, and gambling disorders.

Services are provided in a respectful and confidential manner. Every person regardless of race, beliefs, gender, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or source of payment can expect the most appropriate service to help meet their needs. Pregnant women seeking substance use disorder services receive priority in admission.

Community and Family Resources is part of the IDPH Integrated Provider Network, with services funded by the Iowa Department of Public Health and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

Detoxification Services

Sometimes the first step on the road to recovery is physical detoxification of the body from alcohol and/or other drugs. This process can be physically and emotionally stressful and worrisome for loved ones.
