Beginning the week of December 18, 2023, the same day access hours at our Ames outpatient clinic will change to: Tuesdays: 10:00 AM-2:00 PM Thursdays: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Fridays: 10:00 AM-3:00 PM More details about same day access can be found here.   

During the week of November 27, 2023, the same day access hours at our Des Moines outpatient clinic will be from 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM on Monday through Thursday.    Beginning December 4, 2023, this will change to 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM on Monday through Friday.   More details about same day access can be found here. 

Beginning the week of November 20, 2023, Community & Family Resources' Fort Dodge Medically Monitored Intensive Inpatient (Detox) program will begin admitting new clients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays only. If an individual is in need of this service on Thursday-Sunday, please contact the nearest hospital Emergency Department. This is a temporary schedule adjustment and we will return to admitting new clients 7 days a week as soon as possible in the future. We apologize for any

CFR's outpatient offices will be closed for all evaluations and services on November 23-25, 2023. All residential-based programs will remain open 24/7. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

We are excited to offer two new sessions of an evidence-based Anger Management group that will be held at our Ames office, with an online Zoom option available. Due to a staff training, the hours for the Fort Dodge office Same Day Access walk-in substance use evaluations on Thursday, September 28, 2023, will be changed to 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
